and diets never work for long. The planet may or may not survive, but it is becoming equally questionable whether or not we will be around to find out.
By the standards and advice of today’s ‘weight problem experts’, theoretically, humankind could not have survived. We would be an extinct species by now. Of course, that could not really have happened because the food these experts want us to eat simply were not available till the twentieths century.
By now, this should at least give you some food for thought. If you hold doubts, let me point out that the diets promoted by these experts, and have been so readily accepted by the majority of people, have never undergone scientific scrutiny. No human trials have ever been conducted to prove any part of what we call a diet actually works. The diet advice we get today is based on urban myths, optimism and a strong belief that if foods look fresh and sound healthy and a feasible theory can be concocted to present it as a diet, then it must be good. Often these diets don’t even pretend to be weight reducing. We have come so far down this road, that we are ready to believe that a diet is good for its own sake.
It is tragic that this kind of mass deception can continue unabated when all it takes is a shift in perception to see what a fraud it really is. Weight problems and obesity were not common issues in the sixtieths or even the seventieths. People ate three meals a day, there was plenty of junk food around and there was no shortage of sweet products. There were also no Nutritionists or Diet Food Manufacturers. Wake up and get the solution before the cure kills you.
