For the first time ever, there is a true answer to that nagging question and the answer will amaze you.  It involves carbohydrate and, to be precise: Carbohydrate Addiction.

The book, My Own Plan, by Kirsten Plotkin, will shock many people.  Not least because of the simplicity and obvious truth of what it reveals, but because it begs some very serious questions like:  Why has it taken more than thirty years for someone to figure this out? Why did this important discovery not come from a medical expert or as a result of scientific research?  And why did it take a retired Australian business woman, turned writer, five years, to dare publish her discovery?

These questions can be answered very simply:  A cure for permanent weight loss and obesity is not what the world has been waiting for.  Not the world of diet, nutrition and guru practitioners.  And certainly not the powerful lobby of snack food and cereal manufacturers.

This book is bad news for vested interests who will realize that the information contained in this book cannot be ignored by medicine or science.  These professions will finally have to acknowledge obesity as a medical problem.  It certainly should not remain the playground of pseudo experts and powerful conglomerates.

The original handover of responsibility to these pseudo professionals may have happened by default.  Weight gain and obesity would not have been an important consideration to medicine thirty years ago.  In those days, weight problems and obesity were rare conditions and when present, were often, assumed to be the result of self indulgence and therefore self inflicted.

Nothing could have been further from the truth. Weight problems of any kind should never have been gifted to unqualified ‘experts’, not even by default.  Not a murmur of caution or a single voice of protest was raised at the time.  Only now, when an obesity epidemic is looming, is medicine showing an interest.  We will wait a long time for these ‘experts’ to be held accountable.

The result of this unprecedented transfer of responsibility was that vested interests were given free rein to live off ‘the fat of the people’.   For more than thirty years, they have used us as Lab Rats for their unproven, misguided theories about diets. They have offered these diets earnestly and sincerely, without a shred of legitimate scientific tests or trials to back them up. Their suggestion that every person needs to be on what they call a ‘healthy diet’ is dangerous and it puts them right in the face of nature.

In every case, we the public have been test subjects for hair brained diets which had no chance to do anything but eventually make us fatter than ever.   There Is Not A Single Diet, In The Past, In The Present, Or In The Future, That will Ever Work Long Term.  We, and more to the point, our own bodies, have forgotten what we are supposed to eat.

Nature never intended us to ‘diet’.  Our bodies were always designed to control and maintain our weight independently, except when a medical condition makes intervention necessary.  The obesity epidemic is a testament to voodoo science, bad information, misplaced confidence and lack of genuine research on what is healthy for human beings to eat.

This book could not be published five years ago, when there was just a theory with nothing to back it up.  That is no longer the case; Kirsten Plotkin has spent five years successfully testing her discovery – on herself.  Only then did she have enough information to publish what she learned.  The book speaks for itself and you will be left in no doubt that we have messed with nature and need to rethink our whole approach to food.

The book charts how the discovery was made and how it can work for anyone with weight problems. At no stage is a ‘diet’ suggested.  In other words, this book is not a Diet Book.  When guided by My Own Plan, your permanent weight loss will occur automatically.  It will be a by-product of a small change in lifestyle, which is carefully explained in the book.

I happened to read a publication a while ago, in which a Futurist was asked to predict various changes we could expect in the coming decades. One prediction was that in the future, all men would be bald and without body hair. But the most disturbing prediction was that people will continue to grow fatter each decade, and that eventually, most, if not all of us will become obese. By that time, he added; medicine will have found ways to cure diabetes and heart disease and other illnesses which can be brought on by obesity. In other word, it really wasn’t important!

The interviewer shold have asked him; if medicine will become advanced enough to find cures for those diseases, why can’t they start with a simple way to cure the onset of obesity in the first place? After all, a widespread obesity problem did not exist, other than as a rare condition, until the early nineteen seventies.

The reality is that it’s not just Futurists who have no interest in weight problems, there seems to be a complete lack of interest from both the medical and scientific professions as well. Weight problems, even obesity, have been hijacked by fringe groups like Nutritionists, Dieticians and various Diet Guru’s and the medical and scientific professions seem delighted by that outcome.

Weight gain, and particularly obesity are tainted by the myth that it is a self inflicted condition, which could be easily handled by a diet and some self control. This is simply false. But it has allowed medicine and science to step back and leave the whole issue in the hands of people who are not qualified to deal with it.

Medicine tends to intervene only when a medical condition like Type2 diabetes, threatens to develop as a result of obesity. Obesity itself should be considered a medical condition but that is not going to happen. The fringe ‘experts’ have had at least forty years to popularise ‘nutrition’ and to become entrenched in what they consider their exclusive playground.

They are supported by powerful Snack Food and Cereal manufacturers and the medical profession seems to be delighted to step back from that whole area anyway. Many even refer patients to these ‘experts’ for advice.

As for scientists, they should be getting industry grants to study this unprecedented obesity epidemic, but they either lack the interest, or they are not getting the funds for that type of research. This is not unexpected. The funds would most appropriately come from the food manufacturers and they are not likely to support a program which will inevitable discredit their industry and put a stop to a very lucrative market.

Why would a futurist presume that evolution of human beings would suddenly occur at speeds never before seen? Humans have not changed for thousands of years, why would they suddenly change in less than fifty.

Of course, they wouldn’t, not without human intervention, and the Futurists should have mentioned that. He didn’t, maybe because human intervention of that kind is invariably for profit. Nobody wants to upset ‘vested interests’.

Well, this can now change very easily. The lucrative practice of ‘living off the fat of the people’, will not survive if this book finds the readership it deserves. It exposes the ‘experts’ who, with ignorance, but often good intentions, have managed to fly in the face of nature and sent us all on a path to obesity.

You are going to learn that a permanent solution to permanent weight loss is finally a fact. You can find out how it is possible to reverse this horrifying trend. How it can enable people to regain their normal weight, permanently, without a diet, without exercise and without hunger, or cravings.
